IZKF Retreat 2019: Science and Networking
At the beginning of October, the second retreat of the IZKF Research Training Group took place at the Fraunhofer Research Campus in Waischenfeld.
Over two days the doctoral fellows presented their own projects in 5 sessions and various methods and questions were discussed in round table sessions. As Key Note Speaker they invited Professor Benz from Munich, who inspired the participants in a lecture about his research and his personal career. On the evening of the first day the documentation “Paywall” was shown. Time for active exchange and networking was offered by the Walk&Talk session. (see cover picture)

The IZKF Retreat takes place once a year and is organized and structured by the doctoral students themselves. The Orga-Team consists of the speakers of the IZKF Jour Fixe Groups. The date for 2020 will be announced.
